Today we have had Christmas Display Day at school, this is when all around the school the Christmas decorations go up and the classes decorate their doors or windows. Above is the photographs of children from across the day and of the displays themselves, we hope you love it as much as we do!! We are feeling very Christmasy now and we are looking forward to the Panto, Christmas jumper day and the many other things we have to look forward to before the Christmas holidays.
Well done to Khadijah from our Nursery, Ariadne in Reception H, River in Reception T, Maleek in Year 1 T, Holly in Year 2 H, Nakiayah in Year 2 T, Semilore in Year 4 H, Mehkai in Year 4 T and Firat in Year 5 H all of whom have been awarded Hot Chocolate with the Head for next Thursday!!
Please don’t forget that our after school enrichment clubs finish on Friday 10th December. Children who are normally collected at 16:30 will need to be collected at 15:30 from Monday 13th December.
We were very lucky to be able to book the Pantomime to come to school this year, a letter went out earlier this week asking parents for a £4 contribution towards the cost of the production. The children are going to watch King Arthur on 2nd December in the school hall.
The family service is taking place at Holy Trinity Church again on Monday 6th December. The school singing group will be performing again and there is a community dinner after, it would be lovely to see more families taking part. If you decide to come there is no need to let us know in advance just turn up and push through the gate opposite the school, outside the church. All are welcome.
