Well done to everyone who took part in the reading competition, the winners were drawn on Tuesday and they each got to choose a book from the book fair at the school this week. The winners were Jude from Reception H, Destiny from Year 2H and Aisha from Year 4H
Well done to Kaya in our Nursery, Kairo in Reception H, Kayden in Reception T, Malachi B in Year 1 H, Jessica in Year 1 T, Kayon in Year 2 T, Oreofe in Year 3 T, Princess in Year 4 H, Tayshaun in Year 4 T and Elena in Year 6 H all of whom have been awarded Hot Chocolate with the Head next Thursday!!
There are several parents, carers and staff worried about the use of cars at morning drop off time. As you will see in the photo’s below, cars are being parked and left in a way that blocks pavements and road crossings forcing pavements users such as children, families, pushchairs and children on bikes and scooters into the roads. We have then also had reports of cars travelling far too fast on the roads around the school. In future please set off for school early enough to ensure that you can find a safe parking space and that you have no need to rush on the journey.
