On Thursday 26th May and Friday 27th May we are going to be celebrating the Platinum Jubilee in school.
We have changed the date of the after school celebration to Thursday 26th May so that more families are able to attend.
On Thursday 26th May we are going to have activities from 3:30 – 5pm in the school hall with games, cakes, music and fun. Then on Friday 27th May we are going to have a non uniform day where children come to school wearing the colours of the union jack (red, white and blue) and a homemade crown. There will be tables to make these crowns on Thursday 26th May at the event in the hall.
For the event on Thursday we are asking parents to contribute by providing cakes, tray bakes and cupcakes that we can all share. When you drop off your contribution on Wednesday 25th or Thursday 26th we will ask you to let us know the ingredients so we can display this alongside the treats.

Please note that clubs will continue to run that day however children will only be able to attend the event in the hall if they are accompanied by their parents or carers.
Holy Trinity is taking part in a government initiative where we are working towards being a WAMHSchool (Wellbeing and Mental Health School). As part of this we have practitioners who come into school to work alongside us once a week to increase access to mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people. To support us in this work we are want to gather your thoughts as parents to shape and lead the focus on how to best support you and your children within the school. The questionnaire is to map out the views of parent/carers in relation to existing mental health and wellbeing provisions within the school. This questionnaire will help determine where we can enhance and support existing provisions and increase parent/carer engagement. The questionnaire is anonymous, we are only collecting basic details: age, gender and ethnicity. No names or other personal details are needed. The photographs took place across the week and on the whole went really well. We are super excited to see how they turn out, we will be getting the proofs back in 2 – 3 weeks which we will then send home.
