Road Safety Week at Holy Trinity
On Friday this week we mark the end of Road Safety Week with a number of different activities across the school. Children have been programming blue-bots to travel safely on the roads, stopping at crossings, writing and recording road safety raps, creating road safety adverts and filming interviews with ‘members of the public’ about how to keep safe on the roads. We even shared our learning with some of the visitors in school on Friday morning. The children all know how to keep safe on our roads and what they should wear when they are out in the dark.
Well done to the PTA!!
Following the first official event hosted by the PTA, we are thrilled to announced that they raised over £400 for the school. Thank you for the PTA in everything they did to pull the event together and to the staff for their help in supporting the event. We look forward to the next event which will be a Christmas Celebration!
Eight Hackney Libraries – Warm Hubs
Hackney Council has designated all eight of the Hackney libraries as ‘warm hubs’. These are welcoming spaces for the community to keep warm, and where you can also access free wifi, books and other resources.
