Each of the year groups are broken down into the following phases.

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

Key Stage 1 & 2 are made up of pupils from years 1-6.

At Holy Trinity we use a collection of core apps to help us with our productivity, creativity and workflow. They are non subject specific and are used across the key stages and all subject areas. Check out the core apps below that we use as tools for learning.

Children throughout the school are encouraged to continue their learning at home in a variety of ways including using online programmes. Some homework, especially in Key Stage 1, is set with the intention that it is done with the guidance of a parent.

School starts at 08:55, children in Nursery and Reception go straight into class however children in Years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 make their way into the whole school assembly at this time. This ensures a settled start to the school day and allows lessons to start promptly. Children should not arrive earlier than this unless they are attending Breakfast Club. Breakfast Club begins at 08:00. If your child is going to be late please telephone the school before 09:00 to inform us of this.

We have developed a curriculum at Holy Trinity which ensures children have a broad range of knowledge, skills and understanding. Above all we try to ensure they enjoy their learning and make progress. Assessing how children progress against the requirements of the National Curriculum informs teacher planning.
