On Monday the teachers and children really enjoyed swapping classes, to read a books with children in other classes. Tuesday brought a school council lead assembly on books, authors and the importance of reading. On Wednesday, the Stories from Africa Theatre workshop in the Hall was thoroughly enjoyed by the children in classes Reception T, Year 1H & T, Year 2H & T. Thursday was the peak of the week with World Book Day as everyone took part in dressing up as favourite book characters, we are still collating the photos and so we them as they come in.
The book fair has been at school since Wednesday and will be in here until the 9th March so please pop in when you come to collect your children and have a browse of the books for sale. It’s been very busy, remember to bring cash, unfortunately we can’t take cash or the world book day vouchers. PLEASE remember to use the book tokens the children have brought home, they can be used to order a book online or to get a book in a bookshop.

On Monday we are running a Q&A for the Ufton Court Residential. This is open to parents however please ensure that you sign up rather than just turn up, currently we only have one parent coming so we will set up a smaller space than if we have 15 coming. If you have questions about the residential that have not already been answered in the slides that were sent out via email you are welcome to attend.
