A Message from the Hackney SEND Local Offer Coordinator

Hackney is seeking to improve its co-production with parents and carers.  To do this, and as part of resetting Hackney’s SEND services, we are seeking a new provider to help establish and develop Hackney’s next official parent carer forum.  We want good engagement with a wide range of parents to help feed into
the process of developing the forum as a strategic voice for parents and carers in Hackney.  Parent-Carer engagement sessions – Developing a new Parent-Carer forum for Hackney.

Face to face session November 16th 11:30 am-1pm at Forest Road Youth Hub (light lunch after the session)
Online session November 22nd 7pm – 8:30 pm via Zoom.

Swimming Lessons

A few parents have been asking about swimming lessons for children in Key Stage 2.  I can confirm that we have intensive lessons booked for the following year groups on the following dates at the Britannia Leisure Centre.

Year 4 Swimming lessons – Monday 6th March – Friday 17th March Every day from 9am – 10am

Year 5 Swimming lessons – Monday 20th March – Friday 31st March Every day from 9am – 10am

Year 6 Swimming lessons – July 3rd, 4th, 5th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 17th, 18th and 19th from 12:30 – 13:30

Hot Chocolate with the Head
