Emails have been sent out today to parents of children in Nursery, Reception, Years 1 – 6 for you to sign up to a slot on parents evening which is taking place on Tuesday 17th October. Please check your email and sign up, if you can’t find the link in your emails please speak to the class teacher as you will be able to sign up on their iPad when you collect your child. We look forward to sharing learning with you soon. If you don’t have it already, you will need to download Google Sheets to book your clot.
We have a table open at school near the office to collect food donations made by families and staff. Please donate dried food goods and toiletries to the school and we will donate these to the food bank in the church. There is also a Harvest Assembly this Thursday 12th October from 8:55am – 9:10am, parents and carers are welcome to attend.
Congratulations for the following children who have achieved Hot Chocolate with the Head next week. Well done to Levi in our Nursery, Iona in Reception, Alexander in Year 2, Kamila in Year 3, Deniz in Year 4, Isaac in Year 5 and Lotte in Year 6, I look forward to chatting with you next week about what you did to achieve Hot Chocolate with the Head.
The winning class for attendance this week is Year 3 with 1st – Y3 – 97.3% – Well done – you will enjoy extra playtime this week! In second place is Year 6 with 96.8% and Year 1 come in third place with 96.7%….so close!
Last week we attended a girls football tournament run by Young Hackney! Girls from Years 3-6 competed against other schools within Hackney and despite it being our first ever tournament the girls played amazingly well and even scored a few goals! Well done girls!
