The children across the school have had a great time this week with either their trip to the cinema to watch the Grinch or the Christmas Panto in school! Today the school was so brightly coloured with everyone in their Christmas jumpers. We are looking forward to next week where we have so many more Christmas events…we have the Christmas lunch on Tuesday 13th, please use the link below to sign your child up for a packed lunch if they normally have a packed lunch. Then on Wednesday we have the Nativity at the church from 2pm and in afternoon straight after school the PTA is hosting a Christmas for families to attend and support.
Remember that this week the children will be completing their Rudolph Run during their PE lessons. We have set up a Just giving page that you can use to make donations to St Joseph’s hospice to sponsor your children. Following their run this week each child will get a pair of antlers, a poster to colour in, a fun sticker, a thank you message from Santa and a certificate for completion of the run.

St Joseph’s core work is across the boroughs of City and Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Newham, but some of their services are also available to people in the surrounding boroughs of Waltham Forest, Islington, Haringey and Enfield reaching a population of around 2.1 million people. They take a holistic approach to care, which means that they look after the wellbeing of the whole person, as well as their loved ones. They provide palliative care in the Hospice and in the community as they believe that people should choose where they receive their care.
The school and PTA are hosting a Christmas Fair in the school hall on – please let them know if you are able to help out with the stalls pta@holytrinity.hackney.sch.uk.
After school on Monday and Tuesday this week we will be selling tickets for the Christmas Fair, you will be able to buy your entrance tickets and tickets to pay for things in the fair in advance of Wednesday to reduce queues. We will also be selling these on Wednesday so do not worry if you do not get any in advance. The PTA needs all the helpers it can get so please do email them to let them know if you can help on Wednesday.
