As you will know, several years ago we started a successful partnership with De Beauvoir Primary School for the delivery of Breakfast and After School Clubs, joint sports days and shared residential trips. This partnership has provided access to a wider range of enrichment opportunities for the children of Holy Trinity. It has also benefited parents and schools as it helps us to keep costs as low as possible.
Recently we have been exploring further opportunities for partnership work which can enhance provision and reduce cost. There are several partnership areas which could benefit children and reduce costs for the schools:
Lunch meals and at play: The chef and kitchen team at Holy Trinity have a very strong reputation for providing delicious healthy food. In September, all children in Reception to Year 6 have access to free school meals and will be joined by De Beauvoir children and staff during our lunchtimes
Phonics: For the best phonics learning, lots of phonics teachers are needed. This enables the children to be grouped in small groups, working on the specific sounds they need to learn next. By partnering with De Beauvoir, we could give the children access to a greater number of groups and more tailored provision.
Activities that involve both schools will be supervised by De Beauvoir and Holy Trinity staff and your child’s well-being and education would be our number one priority. If you have any questions in regard to this partnership, we are hosting a parent meeting on Wednesday 19th July at Holy Trinity at 3:40pm.
The Mayor of London is extending the Universal Free School Meal offer to Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 from September 2023. This will run for the next academic year. We are aware that some children are already entitled to FSM and some children bring a Packed Lunch to school and this may change with the introduction of UFSM so in order to be able to prepare the correct amount of food each day for the children we are asking all Parents / Carers to complete this short form informing the school of their child’s School Lunch preference for September 2023. We ask that you only change your lunch preference at the start of each new term / half term. Click here for the short form letting us know your preferences.
Unfortunately, due to increasing costs out of the schools control there will be some price increases from September for some of the extended services the school provides and School Meals.
School Meals will now be £2.40 per day = £12 per week for Nursery Children.
For families that Top Up the school day – 15 hr Top Up or 15 hr Top Up with Extended Day or 15 hr Top Up with Extended Day and Breakfast Club we have increased the weekly charges – please see attached for details.
Before the academic year ends please ensure that you have cleared all debt owed to the school, this includes school lunches and wraparound care.
