Welcome back to Holy Trinity
We are so pleased to welcome back children and families to Holy Trinity and to welcome new children and families as they have joined us this week. We had a great start to the year with a parent event in school this afternoon. Many of our parents and carers went into classes to meet teachers and learn more about the term ahead for their children in Years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. We have similar events coming up for our Nursery, Reception and Preschool Parents and Carers. In the sessions today each class shared a series of slides of information, the slides can be found here.

Leyton Orient – Premier League Primary Stars Programme
This term we will be working alongside Leyton Orient Football Club taking part in the Premier League Primary Stars Programme. Children in Years 2, 3, 4 and 5 will take part in weekly sessions that aim to improve physical fitness and fundamental movement skills. As well as having fun exercises it will educate them on exercise and nutrition. Allowing children to improve their self-esteem and school performance as well as enhancing their general well-being. These sessions are just the beginning with a range of exciting opportunities ahead!
Drop off and collection – Road Safety – School Streets
It is lovely to have the children back at school and many families either walking, cycling or scooting into school. Please ensure that if your child is bringing a scooter or bike to school that these are labelled clearly, remember to also label helmets.
Roseberry Place is a School Street, all School Streets operate from 8.30am to 9.30am and 3pm to 4pm, Monday to Friday during school term time. Unfortunately there are a number of cars that have been travelling down Roseberry Place, mounting the pavement and parking in front of the gates. This is putting children in our school at risk. If you need to drive to school please ensure that you are stopping further down Forest Road and walking to the school from there.
Do not drive down Roseberry Place to drop off your child or use the road to turn your car around.
Many thanks for working with us to keep Holy Trinity children safe on their journey to school.
