Please ensure that you have checked your route and left earlier than normal. Buses and roads will be busier as people will try other means of transport to get to work or school. The longer you give yourself for your journey the less likely you are to be late.
CAMHS stands for child and adolescent mental health services. The service helps children and young people aged 0-18 years, and in some cases up to the age of 25, with emotional and behavioural difficulties or when they are finding it hard to cope with family life, school, college or the wider world.
You and your family will already have many strengths and ideas of your own that can help you overcome challenges and get through difficult times. CAMHS will try to help you to recognise and build on your strengths as we work together.
CAMHS will offer you a thinking space and they will work with you in a caring, open-minded and respectful way.
They respect the beliefs of everyone who uses their services and will be sensitive to your culture, race and self-defined identity. And they are proud to be a part of all the different communities that make up our diverse community.
You can choose to meet with them alongside an advocate who can assist in interpreting what is discussed to your native language, if you would find that helpful.
You may have heard that with the heat last week, hot chocolate with the head became an ice lolly with the head! This was a very popular choice as it was too hot for hot chocolate. We will keep an eye on the weather and decide whether it is hot chocolate or ice lollies this week too.

We are beginning to start looking into the enrichment clubs that will be running in September and wanted your input. If you either have a club that you think you could run or a club that your child would love to attend, please let us know using the link below. We will take all the ideas into consideration when we are creating our new listings.
