Anti-Bullying Week
Thank you to those of you who sent their children to school on Monday in Odd Socks to celebrate our uniqueness.
Last year over 13,000 schools took part in Odd Socks Day. Andy Day (CBeebies/CBBC) and his band Andy and the Odd Socks are supporting the AntiBullying Alliance to help bring Odd Socks Day to life again this year. Have a listen to the brilliant song they have recorded especially for Anti-Bullying Week, One Kind Word.
In a world that can sometimes feel like it’s filled with negativity, one kind word can provide a moment of hope. It can be a turning point. It can change someone’s perspective. It can change their day. It can change the course of a conversation and break the cycle of bullying. Best of all, one kind word leads to another. Kindness fuels kindness. So from the playground to Parliament, and from our phones to our homes, together, our actions can fire a chain reaction that powers positivity.

Sharing is Caring
The lost property box is being worked on by some helpful parents, the contents have been washed and were put out on parents evening to be re-homed if not claimed. We will continue to take pieces of clean and in good condition pieces of school uniform to share with others. Please help yourself to the clothing out on the table in the front office.
Nasal Flu Vaccine – 13th December
Please remember to return the nasal flu vaccination for your child to have their nasal flu vaccine in school like they do every year. This needs to be returned to school by the end of the school day on Monday 22nd November as the NHS come to collect the forms from school. Please return this form even if you are refusing the vaccine as this means we are clear of your wishes one way or another. If you don’t have a copy there are spares that can be collected from the front office up until 4pm on Monday 22nd November.
