Reading Diaries & Parent Power – Keep up the hard work
Well done to everyone who is reading every night at home and remembering to fill in their reading diary. All children who have does this every day of the week get put into a raffle to win a book of their choosing in our Friday assembly. Please keep reading with your child at home – it makes such a difference for your child.
Celebration Assemblies – You are invited!
Every Friday in school we have a celebration assembly where we give out awards and celebrate the children who have achieved Hot Chocolate with the Head. From Friday 29th September all parents and carers of children in Years 1 – 6 are invited to attend. If you wish to come please let the adult on the desk know and you will be able to head into the school hall with the children. We look forward to seeing you there!!
PTA Meeting – Friday 29th September – You’re Invited
This Friday there is the first meeting of the term for the school PTA (Parent-Teacher-Association). All parents are welcome to attend to offer their support. We would love to see you there. It is from 9am – 10am in the school hall. If you are able to come along, please drop off your child and then head around to the front office to meet with the PTA.
Harvest Donations and Assembly
We have a table open at school near the office to collect food donations made by families and staff. Please donate dried food goods and toiletries to the school and we will donate these to the food bank in the church. There is also a Harvest Assembly this Thursday 12th October from 8:55am – 9:10am, parents and carers are welcome to attend.
Hot Chocolate with the Head
Congratulations for the following children who have achieved Hot Chocolate with the Head next week. Well done to Cyrus in our Nursery, Zyon-Rae in Reception, Katelyn in Year 2, Izaiah in Year 3, Qudus in Year 4, Jahzara and Zakariah in Year 5, Tamera, Kayla and Semilore in Year 6 what a fantastic start to your year!
