When children are in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 they are currently entitled to universal free school meals, during term time. When children move into Year 3 parents need to pay for school meals unless they are entitled to Free School Meals. Some families are eligible for Free School Meals during term time and vouchers during school holidays (for as long as the local authority continues to issue them). This week we have our first class assembly of this school year from Year 6 on the 4th October from 3:00 pm to 3:20 pm, parents and carers are welcomed and encouraged to attend and watch. Then Year 5 have their class assembly on the 11th October 2022.
On 13th October we have Cultural Dress Day, children are encouraged to come to school wearing clothing to represent their culture. The PTA are arranging a clothing drop so if you are looking for something for your child to wear or you have something to drop off, please bring it into the school office.
We are super excited to have the school trips booked and ready to go for this year! We have already started with a 2 night residential for the children in Year 5. Click here if you’d like to see some of the photographs from their trip. Year 2 have a trip to St Paul’s Cathedral coming up on the 14th October to learn more about the Great Fire of London.
We have a table open at school near the office to collect food donations made by families and staff. Please donate dried food goods and toiletries to the school and we will donate these to the food bank in the church. Donations will be made this week.
