Healthy school meals are available for all children in the school and are freshly prepared each day onsite, we encourage all pupils to make healthy meal choices. There is a wide choice of healthy, fresh food, including vegetarian meals and fruit as an alternative to pudding.
From September 2022 school dinners will cost £11 per week. We ask for dinner money to be paid to the school office on Monday mornings. A member of the office staff can answer any queries you may have regarding the payment of dinner monies.
Please note that we will always aim to provide wholemeal and the meals on this menu however we have been experiencing some difficulties with wholesalers.
School meals are available for all children in the school and include a vegetarian option. Children can bring a healthy packed lunch, which is eaten in the hall with the other children when school dinners are served.
Changes between school lunches and packed lunches can be made at the beginning of each half term, but the office needs one week’s notice at the end of the previous half term.
Fruit is available for children during the mid-morning break. Please note that the school and playgrounds are a nut, crisp, sweet and chewing-gum free zone.
The school encourages all parents to find out whether they are entitled to free school meals. In doing so, you may also discover that you are entitled to other benefits too. Free School Meal entitlement also means that the school has access to additional government funding, such as pupil premium funding, which allows the school to invest even more in your child’s education.

Since September 2014, all pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 have been entitled to a hot meal provided by the school at no extra cost to the parent/carer. Parents and carers are expected to pay for their child’s school meals when they are in Nursery, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 unless they are entitled to Free School Meals (see above).
