The school has participated in and hosted some sporting events this week. On Wednesday this week a team of footballers from Years 5 and 6 participated in a Hackney football tournament on the Hackney’s Mabley Green. They had a fantastic time while they were there and drew some of their matches, a great achievement for a newly formed team. Then on Thursday this week we hosted at Netball tournament on the MUGA in school. Of the 6 Netball matches that were played, the Holy Trinity team won all 6 with a final score of 27 – 3. This was an amazing achievement and we are we so proud of them! We are looking forward to the London Youth Games qualifiers in December.
If you are eligible for Free School Meals you will have had meal vouchers sent out to you this half term – supplied by Hackney Council.
A reminder to parents that BOOM photography are back in school for the 4 days following the half term break to take individual photographs and sibling photographs in time for a Christmas order. The same set up will run as last time with children having a mini-photoshoot so the photos are not rushed. I’m sure you’ll agree that the photos last time were worth the effort that goes into taking them, we had so many beautiful photos taken and we are excited to see them again this time.
A few parents have been asking about swimming lessons for children in Key Stage 2. I can confirm that we have intensive lessons booked for the following year groups on the following dates at the Britannia Leisure Centre.
Year 4 Swimming lessons – Monday 6th March – Friday 17th March Every day from 9am – 10am
Year 5 Swimming lessons – Monday 20th March – Friday 31st March Every day from 9am – 10am
Year 6 Swimming lessons – July 3rd, 4th, 5th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 17th, 18th and 19th from 12:30 – 13:30
