Today we entered a period of National Mourning following the sad news of the death of Queen Elizabeth II. In school we learnt about the life of the Queen and discussed how we were feeling about her passing. We anticipate that schools will be closed on the day of the funeral, and we will write to update you when this has been confirmed. We are inviting parents into school for a 3pm service in the hall on Thursday 15th September led by Rev Laura.
We are so pleased to welcome back children and families to Holy Trinity and to welcome new children and families as they have joined us this week. We had a great start to the year with a parent event in school this afternoon. Many of our parents and carers went into classes to meet teachers and learn more about the term ahead for their children in Years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. We have similar events coming up for our Nursery, Reception and Preschool Parents and Carers. In the sessions today each class shared a series of slides of information, the slides can be found here.
