The school enjoys an active partnership with the local parish church, Holy Trinity in Dalston. We have an act of collective worship with prayers every day, and we visit the church for services. We celebrate important Christian festivals such as Harvest, Christmas and Easter in Church together.
As a Church of England school, we have Christian teaching built into our curriculum, assemblies and acts of collective worship, and parents are asked to accept this when they send their children to Holy Trinity Primary School. Rev. Laura Luz comes into school weekly to lead assemblies and collective worship. When Rev. Laura leads an our weekly assembly she follows the Collective Worship Calendar, based on the Lectionary, the link for which is here.
We aim to teach children about the beliefs and customs of other faiths, to foster sensitivity and understanding towards those whose religion and cultures are different from their own.
There are monthly services family at Holy Trinity Church, usually on the first Wednesday of the month and the school singing group performs. Please check our events calendar to find out when the next one will be.
