Snow and Bad Weather

In the event of closure due to snow or bad weather, we will send an email to all parents for whom we have an email address. If you currently do not receive emails from the school, please contact the school office with a current email address we can use to contact you.

We will keep our website up to date with any closures in the news section.

We will inform the local authority of any closures.

In the event of heavy snow during the school day, causing us to be concerned about children’s welfare in relation to returning home, we will again email for immediate collection and update the website.

The unpredictability of the weather can make it difficult to be sure of the level of risk posed; we will aim to make decisions and communicate these with you as quickly as possible. Please rest assured that any decisions taken will be based on ensuring that your children are kept as safe as possible.

Please note that if the school is closed, the after school club and extended day offers will also be closed.
