Can You Help Us Make Play Times Amazing?

We are developing our outdoor play and learning, to create exciting play opportunities for the children. We have asked pupils from all classes for their ideas about what they would like to play with. Some of these involve sustainable, safe, everyday objects they can reuse to build, create, explore and invent.
What the Children Would Like to Play With:
Some of the items the children have asked for are things that you may have, unwanted, at home!
Do you have any of these things, which you could donate?
- Den Building & Construction: tarpaulins, large fabric sheets, thick ropes, pegs, wooden planks, palettes and large cardboard boxes.
- Smaller Construction: Lego. wooden blocks, egg boxes and smaller sturdy cardboard boxes.
- Imaginative Play: Suitcases, old handbags, dressing-up clothes, pushchairs / buggies, and old keyboards / phones.
- Engineers & Movers: Plastic crates, milk crates, plastic piping and guttering. Exercise trampolines, yoga balls, small stilts, space hoppers, roller skates, skateboards or similar.
- Mud Kitchen & Digging: Old pots, pans, baking trays, metal mixing bowls, ladles, whisks and plastic buckets.
How to Drop Off:
When? Any school morning during drop off or afternoon during pick up.
Where? Please place small items in the designated Play Donation Bin located in the Key Stage 1 playground, or leave larger items neatly alongside it.

Safety Notice: Please ensure all donated items are clean, sturdy, free of sharp edges, and completely safe for children to handle. We will, of course, check and risk assess all items before repurposing them.
Every little bit counts and no donation is too small. Thank you in advance for making play time magical!
