Start of Term Update
Last week was another busy and rewarding week at school! We have been really impressed by how well the children have started the term; they’ve been keen to learn and ready to follow our class routines and the school rules of ready, respectful and safe. Teachers have provided engaging and well-resourced lessons and the children have been well supported by staff. They have worked hard, presenting their learning neatly in books and producing impressive quantities of work! Our school values of faith, compassion, endurance and respect have been reflected in the way they have worked and behaved in class and around the school.
Thank you parents and carers, for your continued support. The partnership between home and school is invaluable, and we greatly appreciate everything you do to help your child thrive. Daily attendance and punctuality, reading with your child, providing homework support and talking to your child about their learning and experiences at school make an enormous difference and support your child to have the best preparation for a successful future.
You will find lots of information about upcoming dates for the diary in this edition of the school newsletter!

Harvest Festival Service on Thursday
Presided over by Rev Laura, the Harvest Festival will take place at Holy Trinity Church on Thursday 24th September 2026, 9.15am- 10.00am. Years 1-6 will be in attendance at the service, whilst we allow our EYFS children to continue to settle into their new classroom settings.
We will be collecting donations of food, including dried, canned and long life goods, baby supplies (including sealed packs of nappies), feminine hygiene products and washing products (shampoo, body wash etc) on behalf of Hackney Food Bank, in collaboration with Trinity All Saints Church.
We ask that all donated products need to be unopened/ sealed and within date.

Our Drama Club is back this Autumn Term, and we’re excited to be working towards a special end-of-term performance for family and friends to enjoy!
Throughout the term, children will:
– Develop confidence and self-esteem
– Learn acting skills through exciting drama games and activities
– Rehearse as part of a cast and work together as a team
– Build creativity, imagination and communication skills
– Perform in a fantastic showcase at the end of term!
Whether your child already loves performing or is looking to grow in confidence, our welcoming club is the perfect place to develop new skills while having lots of fun.
Places are still open for the Autumn Term!
Existing Members: As our clubs run on a rolling monthly subscription, children who attended last term will automatically continue into the Autumn Term unless we receive written notice that you wish to cancel. If your child is already enrolled, there’s nothing you need to do!
