Colour Exploration in Year 3

In art, the children have been exploring primary colours and how these can be combined to create a wide range of new colours. This foundational understanding of colour mixing will be applied in an exciting project where the children will create their own cave inspired artwork, drawing inspiration from the techniques and styles of Stone Age people. Through this activity, the children will not only develop their own knowledge of colour theory but also gain an appreciation for the artistry and creativity of early human history.
