Final Week of Advent

This week marks the fourth and final week of Advent, a special time in the Christian calendar. The theme is God’s love for humanity, shown through His becoming man to save us from sin and death.

“Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.” (Luke 2:11)

A prayer for Advent Week 4:

Dear Jesus, As we prepare to celebrate Your birth, help us to open our hearts with love and joy. Thank you for coming to bring light to the world, and for teaching us how to share kindness with others.

This last week of Advent, let us remember to be patient and caring, to give to those in need, and to welcome You into our hearts.

Bless our family and friends, and guide us to follow Your example of peace. We are so excited to celebrate Your special day!

Come, Lord Jesus, and stay with us always. Amen.
