Family Sharing makes it easy for you and up to five family members to share Apple Books, and App Store purchases, photo album, family calendar, an Apple Music family plan, and an iCloud storage plan.

It is also useful if you have children as you can set up tools such as ‘Ask to Buy’, locate their devices, set screen time limits for specific apps and much more. A parent or guardian can also set up an Apple ID account for a child under 13 years’ old.
