Spatial Awareness and Positional Language in Reception

We have been strengthening our spatial awareness skills in Maths this week. Here we are throwing bean bags into a hoop in a friendly but competitive game. We used positional language to describe where each bean bag landed in relation to the hoop. We even kept track of our score by counting both the number of bean bags we threw into the hoop and the number of bean bags that missed.
