Being Science enquirers in Year 2

We launched our new Science topic and Writing focus this week! In science we have begun learning about ‘living things and their habitats’. Our first Science enquiry was about what makes something a living thing and we will build on this learning throughout this topic. We can’t wait to learn more!

In writing we are learning about writing a ‘journey story’. We began our lesson by reading our new focus book ‘Meerkat Mail’ by Emily Gravett and then thinking about what other books we thought might be similar and why.
