Describing shapes in Reception

We have been continuing to explore shapes. We have been extending our knowledge by naming these and explaining some of their features. We have been using words such as ‘sides’, ‘corners’, ‘pointy’, ’round’ and ‘flat’ to identify and describe them. We have been using our scissor grip and our Fine Motor Skills to cut out shapes to make a rocket too! We even discovered that we can make shapes with our bodies and that shapes are everywhere around us!
