Evaporation Experiments in Year 4

We carried out an experiment to find out the affect temperature has on evaporation. We weighed and evenly wet three cloths and put them in three different environments of various temperatures, the fridge, outside and in a room temperature classroom. Every hour we then weighed the cloths to see which cloth dried the quickest. Once we had done this we recorded our data in the form of a table and line graph. We noticed that the water evaporated from the cloth the quickest in the classroom, which is also the warmest environment. We then wrote up and explained our findings.
