Exploring materials in Reception

We have begun to explore a new story that is helping us to extend our creativity and imagination! As part of our exploration, we are beginning to explore materials and objects, how these can be used and ways to describe how they feel and what they look like. We have been using the story ‘The Three Little Pigs’ as a supporting text as we explore materials! Today we begun to create our own special items that could turn into lots of different things! We had a bag that turned into a dog on a leash, we had a machine that could also transform into a dinosaur. Watch this space for more of our creative inventions!
