Posted at 11:35h in 19.11.21 News, Digital Leaders, Online Safety, Parents, PSHE by Ms Thomas 1 Like Creating a digital footprint for a child by sharing information about them has become known as ‘Sharenting’, when parents inadvertently or intentionally create a digital dossier for their child. This week as we have talked in classes about bullying, both in person and online. One of the things that has come up has been that images are sometimes shared online that children are embarrassed by. We discussed that it is their image and so their choice and that they shouldn’t feel pressured to share images. However children have talked about images shared by their parents that they may not even know have been shared until a friend mentions it to them.
