02 Dec Nativity – Gathering Parental Interest
We are gathering interest from parents for their attendance at the Nativity between 2 – 3pm on Wednesday 15th December. Before you decide whether you would like to attend, please read the following.
At Holy Trinity the way that we tell the Nativity story is to have our Reception children in their costumes, moving through the church to tell the story whilst the Year 6 children verbally tell the story through readings. The children in Years 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 learn songs that they sing throughout. This year we will not be able to have the children in Years 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 attend the church service as we have cancelled all whole school gatherings in response to COVID. The children in Years 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 will have the songs they have learnt recorded and played in the church instead.
Now that you know the above information please use the link below to let us know if you would like to attend in person if we are able to have a service open to parents. It is important that this form is completed for each adult hoping to attend so that we can get a real picture of the number of people wanting to attend. Complete the form by Monday 6th December 2021 by 10am, if the nativity goes ahead with parents attending we may have to ticket the event and if you have not registered your interest there may not be space for you to attend.
For the chidlren and adults unable to attend we will do our best to record as much of the Nativity as possible for you to watch at a later date via the collective worship google classroom.
