Thomas Minton inspiration in Year 4

We have learnt about Willow pattern art which was designed by an artist named Thomas Minton. You will probably recognise his traditional designs on china plates and bowls; they are still very popular today! The design is known for its blue colour and popular Chinese design. We created our very own versions of willow design, using the nativity story as our inspiration.  We also practised our new skill of applying tint to our

designs.
