Even Steven and Odd Todd in Reception

This week we have had ‘Even Steven’ and ‘Odd Todd’ in our classrooms to help us learn our odd and even numbers. Even Steven told us a little trick to help us work it out. If everyone has a friend and it’s flat on top like the blue blocks in the picture it’s an even number. If one block is missing a friend that means it’s an odd number. We have been using that trick around our classroom to help us work out our odd and even numbers.
