Learning about our teeth in Year 4 Science

In science we have continued our learning on the digestive system. In this lesson, we learnt all about our teeth, the different teeth that we have and the difference between children’s and adult’s teeth. We counted how many teeth we have and looked at the difference shapes of each tooth. We thought carefully about how each shape would be beneficial for different jobs. We finished the lesson by looking at carnivore’s teeth and herbivore’s teeth and thinking about how and why the shapes of the teeth would be different.
