Minibeast hotels in Year 2

In year 2, we have created our own ‘minibeast hotels’. In our science lessons we have been learning about habitats and this week we focussed our learning on microhabitats. We thought about what materials minibeasts might like in their ‘hotels’. We enjoyed looking for these materials around the playground and arranged them inside plastic bottles to encourage the minibeasts inside. Have a look for our hotels in the playground near the garden!
