Story writing about ‘The Hackney Martian’ in Year 1

In Writing we have been focusing on the picture fiction text ‘The Hackney Martian.’ With the help of a story map we have been making up our own version of the tale. We have used big bold actions and loud proud voices to get really familiar with our innovated story before writing it out. We tried to remember to use capital letters and full stops consistently and checked our success criteria at the end of the lesson to see what to work on next time!
