This Week’s Learning in Nursery

This week, we embarked on an exciting new topic all about transport! We introduced a brand-new core book, Naughty Bus, which has quickly become a firm favourite in Nursery. The children loved listening to the story and were inspired to create their very own Naughty Bus drawings. We even made up our own Nursery Naughty Bus song, which was so much fun to sing together!

Our creativity didn’t stop there—we explored junk modelling and used recycled materials to build our own fantastic vehicles. It was wonderful to see the children’s imagination come to life as they designed and constructed different modes of transport.

In maths, we focused on 3D shapes, learning to identify and describe them through hands-on activities. The children had a great time exploring different shapes and discovering where they can be found in the world around us.

It’s been a fantastic week full of learning, creativity, and exploration. We can’t wait to see what next week brings!
