Understanding the world in Reception

As part of our learning in exploring our topic of Summer, we have been engaging in role play and exploring what we would need and could do on the beach! We have learnt about some items we could bring along, what we would hope we would see and used our creativity, imagination and understanding of the world to help us add this in our small world and make our own stories up! So far, we have created ice cream trucks, some ice creams, more animals, the sun and explored ways to make shade!
