Exploring Florence Nightingale’s life in Year 1 History

In History, we learnt all about the fantastic life of Florence Nightingale. We talked about the problems she faced in her life and her quest to improve hospital care for all patients. In this lesson we wrote a letter to the people of Britain from the perspective of Florence Nightingale detailing the harsh conditions she witnessed in hospitals during the Crimean War.
