Year 6 ‘Saluting Our Sisters’: athletes

Year 6 looked at many female black British athletes, such as Dina Asher-Smith, many of whom have gone on to receive MBEs or OBEs for their work within the community. They generated detailed biographies and wrote about their reasons for why particular athletes had inspired them.
