Recreating the artwork of Alma Thomas in Black History Month sessions in Nursery

In Nursery, we took inspiration from the Art of Alma Thomas and we recreated her colourful paintings by sticking pieces of paper on cards. We also learned about the life of Aretha Franklin, her famous song “Respect” and we discussed about what respect means to us.
