Collective Worship: Endurance and Celebrating Our Prayer Leaders

In Rev Laura’s collective worship today, we considered the importance of endurance and how. by trying hard, we can achieve success. Using only eight fingers,  four of our staff members managed to lift Rev Josie out of her chair! This proved that, by working together, we can achieve more. We heard the Bible story from Luke 5:17-26, where Jesus healed a paralysed man whose friends worked together to carry him to Jesus and lower him through the roof of the house Jesus was in so that he could see him. Rev Laura and Rev Josie also presented our Prayer Leaders with special bookmarks, which had messages of encouragement for them provided by members of the church. Rev Laura prayed for them and thanked them for their service to our school.
