Nursery’s Trip to Spitalfields City Farm

Last week, Nursery had a fantastic adventure visiting Spitalfields City Farm! We got to see real farm animals up close, including donkeys, sheep, goats, rabbits, ducks, hens, and even a hairy hog—just like the one in What the Ladybird Heard!

We were especially excited to spot a mini duck pond, just like in the story. We had fun peeking in to see if we could find the two thieves—Hefty Hugh and Lanky Len – hiding nearby!

Lunch at the farm was a special treat, enjoying the fresh air and nature all around us. We also loved watching the animals eat—it was fascinating to see their different feeding habits!

It was a wonderful day filled with learning, laughter, and lots of animal fun!
