Year 2 Art: Brush Strokes

In Year 2, we explored how to use our paintbrushes to make different types of lines and patterns. By pressing gently or firmly, and by changing the angle of our brush, we discovered how to create thick and thin brush marks. We also created some of our own shades of colours!

This helped us learn how artists use brushstrokes to show movement, texture, and expression in their work.
