Year 5’s Brilliant Sharing Assembly: the Legacy of the Windrush Generation

Year 5 shared their history learning with us this week in a brilliant sharing assembly about the experiences and legacy of the Windrush Generation. It was important learning: about the generosity and resilience shown by those who came to help following the devastation of World War II, the many challenges experienced (then, and more recently, through the Windrush Scandal) and the countless contributions that have been made to shaping the UK as we know it.
