Year 1 Explore The Nativity Story

Last term, Year 1 explored the Nativity story in depth, and the children chose characters from the Christmas story to inspire their writing. They learned about Angel Gabriel, who appeared to Mary and others to share the good news of baby Jesus, and they wrote about the three kings, who travelled a long distance to bring special gifts to the new king. Their enthusiasm, curiosity and imagination have shone through every piece of work.

Year 1 hope everyone who celebrated had a very Merry Christmas, and to those who don’t celebrate Christmas, we hope you are enjoying the holidays and a peaceful, well‑deserved break. All of the children have worked incredibly hard and truly deserve time to rest and enjoy special moments with loved ones this holiday!
