Nursery’s Festive Week

Our Christmas lunch was an absolute treat. The children looked wonderful in their Christmas party hats, and the food was simply delicious. Sharing this special meal together brought lots of joy and smiles all around.

We also had great fun retelling and overlearning the story Dear Santa. The children discovered new words and practised them using Makaton signs. Everyone did a fantastic job.

Throughout the week, the children enjoyed decorating our Christmas tree on the small world tray. It was a lovely hands-on activity that encouraged imagination and teamwork.

In maths, we revisited shapes and patterns and had fun linking Numicons to the correct number of objects.
