Reception Learn about Easter

Reception has been full of excitement this week as we dived into a new topic –  Easter – with lots of fun and creative Easter-themed activities! The children have been busy decorating colourful eggs, making cheerful spring crafts and learning about the signs of the season. For our singing challenge, the children had a fantastic time singing Humpty Dumpty with a modern twist, using instruments to accompany the song. They practised tapping to the beat and explored rhythm in a fun and engaging way. We also got creative with Easter and spring hat making, with the children designing and decorating their own unique hats. It was wonderful to see their imagination shine! To top it all off, we made the most of the lovely weather, spending time outdoors and enjoying the sunshine together – a wonderful way to welcome the Easter season!
