Year 5’s Windrush Information Leaflets

In Year 5, the children have been learning about the Windrush Generation; exploring the journey of the Caribbean people who travelled to Britain after World War Il and the significant contributions they made to British society. As we approach the end of our topic, the children have been reflecting on everything they have learned and have created their own informative leaflets, sharing key facts about the Windrush Generation, the challenges people faced, their experiences and the lasting impact they have had on Britain. They have worked hard to present their learning creatively and showcase their growing understanding of this important part of British history.
